HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2115

Commending Orleans Bistro & Grill.

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, June 22, 2026

WHEREAS, Orleans Bistro & Grill in Fredericksburg, a celebrated restaurant offering traditional New Orleans-style Cajun and Creole food with a Southern flare, has greatly served the community for several years; and

WHEREAS, Orleans Bistro & Grill was founded by executive chef and restaurateur Tisha Johnson in October 2017 at the Southpoint Plaza in Fredericksburg and quickly became a popular dining destination and place for friends and family to gather; and

WHEREAS, the menu at Orleans Bistro & Grill includes a wide array of flavorful Cajun and Creole dishes guaranteed to satisfy any fan of Big Easy eats, from seafood gumbo and jambalaya to po' boys and blackened redfish; and

WHEREAS, the exceptional food at Orleans Bistro & Grill is outdone only by the impeccable service and hospitality of its servers, bartenders, and staff, who make every effort to ensure its patrons feel like kings and queens of Mardi Gras; and

WHEREAS, with a warm and inviting ambiance and a full schedule of live music, charity events, and social club meetups, Orleans Bistro & Grill has established itself as a flourishing hub of the Fredericksburg community; and

WHEREAS, Orleans Bistro & Grill, a gem of the Fredericksburg culinary scene, has helped to make the city a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Orleans Bistro & Grill hereby be commended for its legacy of excellence and service; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Tisha Johnson, owner of Orleans Bistro & Grill, as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the restaurant's contributions to Fredericksburg and the Commonwealth.
