HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2105
Commending Grayson County High School.
Agreed to by the House of Delegates, June 22, 2026
WHEREAS, from 2022 to 2026, Grayson County High School in Independence maintained a 100 percent graduation rate for five consecutive academic years, demonstrating its exceptional commitment to academic excellence and student success; and
WHEREAS, the teachers and administrators of Grayson County High School work diligently to create a supportive learning environment by building strong personal relationships with students to ensure that their unique needs and concerns are met; and
WHEREAS, the teachers and administrators of Grayson County High School go above and beyond to track student progress and give young people the tools and encouragement they need to achieve their fullest potential; and
WHEREAS, five successive classes of Grayson County High School seniors have reflected the school's legacy of academic excellence through their hard work, dedication to their studies, and commitment to the successful completion of their secondary education; and
WHEREAS, graduates of Grayson County High School have gone on to achieve further success in four-year institutions of higher education, community colleges and trade schools, and careers, using the lessons learned at their alma mater to inspire others and become leaders in the next stages of their academic and career journeys; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Grayson County High School hereby be commended for maintaining a 100 percent graduation rate for five consecutive academic years; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Grayson County High School as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the exceptional achievements of the school's students, faculty, and staff members.
