HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2102

Celebrating the life of Christine E. Bordas.

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, June 22, 2026

WHEREAS, Christine E. Bordas, a trusted health care professional and a devoted volunteer who touched countless lives through her kindness and grace, died on June 1, 2026; and

WHEREAS, Christine “Chris” E. Bordas grew up in Burlington County, New Jersey, and earned a degree as a medical assistant before settling in the Roebling community; and

WHEREAS, Chris Bordas pursued a long and fulfilling career in health care, serving patients at multiple medical practices over the course of 25 years; and

WHEREAS, Chris Bordas was guided by her deep faith and was an active volunteer for her church congregation, serving as chair of various fundraisers and participating in local events; and

WHEREAS, Chris Bordas also provided her leadership to the Altar Rosary Society, through which she wrote notes of encouragement to sick or homebound members of the community; and

WHEREAS, Chris Bordas derived her greatest joy in life from her beloved family; she made many lasting memories on family trips to the Jersey Shore and relished every opportunity to support her children and grandchildren in sports and other activities; and

WHEREAS, Chris Bordas will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of 57 years, Joseph; her children, Monica, Adria, and Aaron, and their families; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of Christine E. Bordas, a health care professional and faithful volunteer leader; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Christine E. Bordas as an expression of the House of Delegates' respect for her memory.
