HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2192

Commending Touch Hearts Christian Center.

WHEREAS, Touch Hearts Christian Center has served the residents of Stafford County through faith-based ministry, education, community outreach, and family support programs; and

WHEREAS, under the leadership of the Reverend Dr. Frank R. Lacey, Touch Hearts Christian Center has worked to strengthen families, promote civic engagement, and provide resources and assistance to individuals throughout the community; and

WHEREAS, Touch Hearts Christian Center established the Community Chaplains program and has partnered with local organizations, public safety agencies, faith communities, and civic groups to address the needs of residents across Stafford County; and

WHEREAS, Touch Hearts Christian Center has supported educational opportunities for young people and families and has emphasized the importance of leadership development, community service, and spiritual growth; and

WHEREAS, Touch Hearts Christian Center provides programs and services that support children, families, and members of the community and has fostered partnerships that advance the well-being of Stafford County residents; and

WHEREAS, through the leadership of the Reverend Dr. Frank R. Lacey and the dedication of its congregation, Touch Hearts Christian Center has demonstrated a commitment to faith, service, education, and community engagement; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Touch Hearts Christian Center hereby be commended for its contributions to community service, education, and faith-based outreach in Stafford County; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the Reverend Dr. Frank R. Lacey, senior pastor of Touch Hearts Christian Center, as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the church's service to the community and the Commonwealth.
