Commending Timmy Maness and Chelsea Spangler.

WHEREAS, Timmy Maness and Chelsea Spangler, a paramedic and emergency medical technician, respectively, with Patrick County Emergency Services, readily answered the call of duty on April 14, 2026, by assisting with the roadside delivery of Crispin Wells Williams, the son of the Honorable Wren M. Williams; and

WHEREAS, Timmy Maness and Chelsea Spangler were transporting the mother of Crispin Wells Williams, Britt Williams, to the nearest labor and delivery ward when it became clear they would not make it to their destination in time; and

WHEREAS, Timmy Maness and Chelsea Spangler demonstrated exemplary professionalism, care, and calm under pressure as they jumped into action and worked together to ensure a safe and healthy delivery; and

WHEREAS, through their actions, Timmy Maness and Chelsea Spangler have exemplified the training, skill, and bravery of the Commonwealth's emergency medical services professionals, who prove each day why they are integral to the safety and well-being of our communities; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Timmy Maness and Chelsea Spangler, esteemed members of Patrick County Emergency Services, hereby be commended for their extraordinary and compassionate care during the roadside delivery of Crispin Wells Williams; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare copies of this resolution for presentation to Timmy Maness and Chelsea Spangler as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for their heroism and service.
