Commending four women leaders from Caroline County Public Schools.

WHEREAS, during the 2025–2026 academic year, four women leaders from Caroline County Public Schools achieved leadership positions in major statewide educational organizations, demonstrating the school district's commitment to excellence; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Sarah Calveric served as president of the Virginia Association of School Superintendents, Marcia Stevens served as president of the Virginia Association of School Business Officials, Terrie Haley served as president of Women Education Leaders in Virginia, and Dr. JoWanda Rollins-Fells served as president of the Virginia School Boards Association; and

WHEREAS, these four educators and administrators represent the commitment of all members of Caroline County Public Schools to supporting students and promoting innovation and advocacy for public education in Virginia; and

WHEREAS, these four women leaders from Caroline County Public Schools have influenced student outcomes, educational equity, school finance, governance, and professional development for educators statewide; collectively, they have helped guide policy, strengthen school systems, and champion new opportunities for students in Caroline County and beyond; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Dr. Sarah Calveric, Marcia Stevens, Terrie Haley, and Dr. JoWanda Rollins-Fells, four women leaders from Caroline County Public Schools, hereby be commended for their roles as trailblazers, mentors, and role models at the state level; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to these four women leaders from Caroline County Public Schools for their outstanding achievements on behalf of students in Caroline County and contributions to education throughout the Commonwealth.
