Commending Christopher Ezelle.

WHEREAS, Christopher Ezelle, a senior chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear strategist with the United States Army, will retire in 2026, concluding nearly five decades of distinguished government service; and

WHEREAS, Christopher Ezelle has been instrumental to the development of the nation's passive defense frameworks over his career, including in his capacity as a United States Air Force combat developer, lead operational analyst, system manager for decontamination, and program manager; and

WHEREAS, as a senior chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear strategist (CBRN), Christopher Ezelle played an essential role in bolstering national security by supporting the United States Army's field operations and material acquisitions; and

WHEREAS, Christopher Ezelle brought his expertise to bear in four major theaters of war, establishing capabilities that were vital for protecting military personnel from modern CBRN threats and dangers; and

WHEREAS, with a deep understanding of the complexities of both material development and the United States Department of War's 5000-series policies, Christopher Ezelle masterfully mitigated institutional risk and secured mission-essential survivability assets; and

WHEREAS, through his exceptional strategic vision and steadfast commitment to operational excellence, Christopher Ezelle set a standard for leadership that will continue to inspire his colleagues and contribute to national readiness and resilience for years to come; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Christopher Ezelle hereby be commended for his extraordinary dedication and service on the occasion of his retirement; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Christopher Ezelle as an expression of the House of Delegates' appreciation for his contributions to the Commonwealth and the nation and best wishes upon his retirement.
