WHEREAS, Madison Warner, beloved daughter of the Honorable Mark Warner, the senior United States Senator from the Commonwealth and the 69th governor of Virginia, and his wife, Lisa Collis, died on April 20, 2026, leaving a legacy of love, courage, and joy; and

WHEREAS, Madison Warner was raised in the Commonwealth and was by her father's side at many times throughout his career in Virginia and United States politics; and

WHEREAS, despite dealing with health issues from a young age, Madison Warner remained indefatigable in spirit and steadfastly committed to overcoming her challenges to live her life to the fullest; and

WHEREAS, Madison Warner had a warm, friendly, and compassionate nature and an innate ability to make those around her feel valued and recognized, and her bravery and positivity in the face of adversity inspired all who knew her; and

WHEREAS, Madison Warner will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her parents, Mark and Lisa; her sisters, Gillian and Eliza; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of Madison Warner, a cherished daughter of the Commonwealth whose kindness, strength, and grace brightened countless lives; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Madison Warner as an expression of the House of Delegates' respect for her memory.
