Celebrating the life of Gail Wilson.

WHEREAS, Gail Wilson, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and revered member of the Chesapeake community, died on April 7, 2026, leaving a legacy of wisdom, love, and joy; and

WHEREAS, Gail Wilson was a mentor and friend to many, who adored her for her warm and personable demeanor, admired her for her diligence and strength of character, and drew inspiration from her ability to be present and grateful in all moments and endeavors; and

WHEREAS, Gail Wilson enjoyed many achievements over the years and nurtured an untold number of close friendships in her lifetime, making an impact and impression on all who knew her; and

WHEREAS, Gail Wilson will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her loving husband, Danny; her children, Ashley, Danyell, Sunceray, Ariel, and Terrance, and their families; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of Gail Wilson, a treasured member of the Chesapeake community whose passion and enthusiasm for life illuminated countless lives; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Gail Wilson as an expression of the House of Delegates' respect for her memory.
