HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 338

Commending Julie Kessler.

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, March 10, 2026

WHEREAS, Julie Kessler, a graduate of Brentsville District High School in Prince William County and the sports field coordinator for the National Women's Soccer League's Kansas City Current, was presented the Professional Soccer Field of the Year award by the Sports Field Management Association; and

WHEREAS, while a student at Brentsville District High School, Julie Kessler began studying field management through the school's turfgrass management program, where students develop professional skills to establish and maintain turfgrass in a variety of settings; and

WHEREAS, Julie Kessler was a member of the Brentsville District High School soccer team and has drawn from both her education and her passion for the sport to build a distinguished career with the National Women's Soccer League; and

WHEREAS, Julie Kessler's accomplishment is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence and has brought great pride to the Brentsville District High School community and the Commonwealth; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Julie Kessler hereby be commended for receiving the Sports Field Management Association's 2026 Professional Soccer Field of the Year award; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Julie Kessler as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for her achievement and best wishes for her continued success.
