HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 335

Commending Lauren Simon, DDS.

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, March 10, 2026

WHEREAS, Lauren Simon, DDS, a trusted dentist in Nokesville, has provided exceptional service to the community for more than a decade, changing countless lives by transforming smiles and promoting good oral health; and

WHEREAS, after graduating from dental school, Dr. Simon received a Health Professions Scholarship, a prestigious honor offered by branches of the United States Armed Forces and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Simon served the nation for three years as a dentist in the United States Army, providing outstanding care to her fellow service members; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Simon settled in Nokesville and worked in private practice before establishing Nokesville Family Dentistry in 2016; under her leadership, Nokesville Family Dentistry is well known for its welcoming atmosphere and compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to care; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Simon is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society; and

WHEREAS, outside of the Nokesville community, Dr. Simon has participated in dental mission trips to Jamaica, Guatemala, and Moldova and volunteered with various Mission of Mercy projects and the Give Kids A Smile program; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Lauren Simon, DDS, hereby be commended for her service to the Nokesville community as a dentist; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Lauren Simon, DDS, as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for her professional achievements and contributions to the advancement of oral health care.
