HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 173

Commending Princess Anne High School All-Virginia Band and All-Virginia Orchestra honorees.

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, March 2, 2026

WHEREAS, in 2025, three Princess Anne High School students, Noah Gee, Lydia Li, and Cameron Spears, were selected as members of the Virginia Music Educators Association's All-Virginia Band and All-Virginia Orchestra; and

WHEREAS, Noah Gee was selected for the All-Virginia Band, while Lydia Li and Cameron Spears were selected for the All-Virginia Orchestra; and

WHEREAS, in order to receive this prestigious accolade, the All-Virginia Band and All-Virginia Orchestra honorees passed multiple auditions to demonstrate their high level of performance; and

WHEREAS, the All-Virginia Band and All-Virginia Orchestra honorees first auditioned at the district level and earned acceptance in their respective ensembles, then auditioned a second time to be accepted for participation in their respective strand; and

WHEREAS, as honorees, Noah Gee, Lydia Li, and Cameron Spears brought recognition to Princess Anne High School and served as outstanding ambassadors for the Virginia Beach community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That the Princess Anne High School All-Virginia Band and All-Virginia Orchestra honorees, Noah Gee, Lydia Li, and Cameron Spears, hereby be commended for their achievements as musicians; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare copies of this resolution for presentation to the Princess Anne High School All-Virginia Band and All-Virginia Orchestra honorees as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for their commitment to excellence.
