WHEREAS, Sara Antillon, an esteemed educator at Gainesville High School in Prince William County, was named the Prince William County Public Schools Novice Teacher of the Year for grades six through 12 for 2025; and
WHEREAS, Sara Antillon cultivates a learning environment at Gainesville High School that nurtures her students' academic, social, and emotional well-being; and
WHEREAS, Sara Antillon places an emphasis on building strong and meaningful relationships with her students, families, and colleagues, creating a positive school culture in which everyone feels welcomed, trusted, and supported; and
WHEREAS, Sara Antillon inspires her students to recognize their potential and to pursue their dreams, empowering them to achieve success both in and out of the classroom; and
WHEREAS, with an unwavering commitment to the students and families she serves, Sara Antillon has made a profound and lasting impact on the Gainesville High School community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Sara Antillon for being named the 2025 Prince William County Public Schools Novice Teacher of the Year for grades six through 12; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Sara Antillon as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for her contributions to education in Prince William County and the Commonwealth.
