WHEREAS, Heather Goode, a distinguished education administrator at Sinclair Elementary School in Prince William County, was named the Prince William County Public Schools Principal of the Year for grades pre-kindergarten through five for 2025; and

WHEREAS, Heather Goode cultivates a learning environment at Sinclair Elementary School that nurtures her students' academic, social, and emotional well-being, while encouraging her teachers to grow and excel in their careers; and

WHEREAS, Heather Goode works tirelessly to ensure that every member of the Sinclair Elementary School community feels welcomed, trusted, and supported; and

WHEREAS, Heather Goode inspires her students to embrace their potential and seek lofty dreams, empowering them to achieve success along their academic journeys and to become the leaders of tomorrow; and

WHEREAS, Heather Goode endeavors daily to provide her faculty and staff with the guidance and resources they need to make a difference in their students' lives; and

WHEREAS, through her leadership and unwavering dedication to the students, families, and teachers at Sinclair Elementary School, Heather Goode has helped to make Prince William County a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Heather Goode for being named the 2025 Prince William County Public Schools Principal of the Year for grades pre-kindergarten through five; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Heather Goode as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for her contributions to education in Prince William County and the Commonwealth.
