Commending Hector's of Nokesville.

WHEREAS, for nearly a decade, Hector's of Nokesville has served delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine while building a strong sense of community fellowship throughout Nokesville and the surrounding region; and

WHEREAS, Hector's of Nokesville was established in 2017 by brothers, Hector and Balta Placencia, who were born in Mexico and grew up in California before settling in Prince William County; and

WHEREAS, Hector's of Nokesville quickly earned a reputation for its mouthwatering menu, with Hector Placencia serving as head chef and crafting family recipes from memory and experience; the restaurant uses the finest, fresh ingredients to make salsas, guacamole, sauces, and Mexican rice from scratch every day; and

WHEREAS, Balta Placencia contributed to the unique decor of Hector's of Nokesville by adorning the walls with his abstract paintings, and both brothers have worked diligently to ensure that the restaurant feels like a home away from home for regular customers and visitors; and

WHEREAS, the menu at Hector's of Nokesville is a journey through the rich and vibrant flavors of classic Mexican gastronomy, with something to please every palate and accommodate customers' dietary needs, including kid-friendly options and vegetarian options; and

WHEREAS, Hector's of Nokesville represents the Placencia brothers' firm belief in the power of good food to bring people together; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Hector's of Nokesville hereby be commended for its years of service to the Nokesville community; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Hector's of Nokesville as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the restaurant's legacy of success and contributions to culinary life in Prince William County.
