Commending the National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia.

WHEREAS, in 2025, the National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia celebrated its fifth anniversary of work to increase participation by women in the political process and support women candidates for elected and appointed offices throughout the Commonwealth; and

WHEREAS, established in 2020, the National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia is part of a national network of state and local chapters advocating for women's rights and supporting women leaders at all levels of government; and

WHEREAS, through leadership development, civic engagement, and advocacy, the National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia helps ensure that women's voices are represented in public decision making; and

WHEREAS, the National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia hosts candidate forums and provides information on policies that address the needs of women and advance women's rights; and

WHEREAS, across the Commonwealth, members of the National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia are actively engaged in strengthening democracy, supporting community leadership, and encouraging the next generation of women leaders to step forward and serve; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend the National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia on the occasion of its fifth anniversary of service; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the National Women's Political Caucus of Virginia as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for its achievements in giving women a stronger voice at all levels of government in the Commonwealth.
