Commending New Jerusalem Ministries.

WHEREAS, for 15 years, New Jerusalem Ministries in Virginia Beach has provided its congregation with uplifting spiritual guidance, joyous occasions for worship and fellowship, and meaningful opportunities for community outreach; and

WHEREAS, New Jerusalem Ministries helps its members grow in their faith with a variety of ministries, groups, and programs and addresses the needs of the community through a number of charitable outreach endeavors; and

WHEREAS, New Jerusalem Ministries has thrived under the exceptional leadership of pastor Veronica Coleman, who works tirelessly to inspire her congregation and to make the church a beacon of light and hope in the community; and

WHEREAS, through its steadfast commitment to spiritual leadership, community service, and faith-based outreach, New Jerusalem Ministries has enriched countless lives and strengthened the fabric of the Virginia Beach community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That New Jerusalem Ministries hereby be commended for its legacy of service on the occasion of its 15th anniversary; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Veronica Coleman, pastor of New Jerusalem Ministries, as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the church's contributions to Virginia Beach and the Commonwealth.
