Celebrating the life of Victoria Reid Argabright.

WHEREAS, Victoria Reid Argabright, a vibrant member of the Richmond community and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, died on January 8, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Victoria “Vickie” Reid Argabright grew up in Roanoke, where she graduated from the former Jefferson High School; she continued her education at what is now Mary Baldwin University, where she made many lifelong friendships; and
WHEREAS, Vickie Argabright helped bring This End Up Furniture Company to Roanoke in the 1980s, and she was an active member of the Junior League of Roanoke Valley and Mill Mountain Garden Club; and
WHEREAS, in 1985, Vickie Argabright married her husband, Bob, and relocated to Richmond, where she joined the Junior League of Richmond and held many leadership roles with Trinity United Methodist Church; and
WHEREAS, Vickie Argabright was also an avid bridge and mahjong player who played both games weekly with local groups; and
WHEREAS, Vickie Argabright will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband, Robert; her children, Holly, Reid, Leigh-Ann, and Will, and their families; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Victoria Reid Argabright; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Victoria Reid Argabright as an expression of the General Assembly's respect for her memory.
