Commending Violett Clonch.

Patrons—Feggans, Askew, Bloxom, Callsen, Convirs-Fowler, Martinez and Tata

WHEREAS, one day after leading the Kempsville High School gymnastics team to its first Virginia High School League Class 5 championship, Violett Clonch delivered an exceptional performance at the individual state championships held at Kellam High School on February 21, 2026; and

WHEREAS, competing across all Virginia High School League classifications, Violett Clonch captured the individual all-around state championship with an outstanding total score of 38.975; and

WHEREAS, Violett Clonch earned first place on the vault with a 9.925 average and secured first place on the balance beam with a score of 9.850; she also achieved second place in the floor exercise with a 9.50 and third place on the uneven bars with a score of 9.70; and

WHEREAS, Violett Clonch's remarkable achievements reflect a high level of athletic excellence, discipline, and dedication, bringing great pride to Kempsville High School and the broader community; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Violett Clonch hereby be commended on winning the Virginia High School League individual all-around gymnastics state championship in 2026; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Violett Clonch as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for her accomplishments and best wishes for the future.
