Commending Amy Reardon.

WHEREAS, Amy Reardon, an English for Speakers of Other Languages teacher at Chancellor Elementary School in Spotsylvania County, was named the Spotsylvania County Public Schools Teacher of the Year in 2026; and

WHEREAS, as an English for Speakers of Other Languages teacher, Amy Reardon helps her students develop language and literacy skills that will be essential to their success both in and out of the classroom; and

WHEREAS, Amy Reardon works tirelessly to create a learning environment that fosters her students' academic, social, and emotional well-being; and

WHEREAS, Amy Reardon nurtures confidence in her students, inspiring them to aim high and believe they can overcome any challenge they face; and

WHEREAS, Amy Reardon has been an unwavering champion for her students, encouraging them to recognize and realize their strengths and abilities; and

WHEREAS, Amy Reardon's energy and enthusiasm for her work have enabled her to cultivate meaningful relationships with students, faculty, and families throughout the Chancellor Elementary School community; and

WHEREAS, Amy Reardon's dedication and commitment to excellence as an educator have made a profound and lasting impact on countless lives; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Amy Reardon hereby be commended for being named the 2026 Spotsylvania County Public Schools Teacher of the Year; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Amy Reardon as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for her contributions to Spotsylvania County and the Commonwealth.
