A BILL to amend and reenact the eighth enactment of Chapter 780 of the Acts of Assembly of 2024, relating to temporary detention; certified evaluators; sunset extended.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the eighth enactment of Chapter 780 of the Acts of Assembly of 2024 is amended and reenacted as follows:

8. That the provisions of this act shall expire on July 1, 2026 2027.
