AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE

A BILL to require the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia to annually report certain student enrollment data.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (the Council) shall annually report on the enrollment of Virginia students, non-Virginia students, and international students at each public institution of higher education in the Commonwealth. The Council shall submit a report of its findings to the Chairs of the House Committee on Education and the Senate Committee on Education and Health no later than February 1 each year.
