Celebrating the life of Paul Douglas Jackson.

WHEREAS, Paul Douglas Jackson, an accomplished entrepreneur, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, and treasured member of the Victoria community, died on March 15, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Paul Jackson was an avid helicopter pilot who served as a leader of the helicopter pilot community in the Commonwealth as the president of the Virginia Helicopter Association; and
WHEREAS, Paul Jackson loved to give rides in his helicopter to family, friends, and individuals suffering from illnesses to offer them the thrill of flight and an unforgettable adventure; and
WHEREAS, Paul Jackson often used his helicopter to be of assistance to others, including when he flew supplies to people in North Carolina who had been impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Helene; and
WHEREAS, when he was not flying, Paul Jackson worked hard as an entrepreneur, kept busy with various projects, and was always ready to help others in need; and
WHEREAS, preceded in death by his son, Jesse, Paul Jackson will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife, Christy; his children, Christopher and Raven, and their families; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Paul Douglas Jackson, a revered member of the Victoria community whose light brightened countless lives; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Paul Douglas Jackson as an expression of the General Assembly's respect for his memory.
