Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The State Corporation Commission shall promulgate regulations for pipeline leak detection and repair standards for pipeline facilities used in the intrastate transportation of gas that are, at a minimum, as protective as the standards set forth in the Pipeline Safety: Gas Pipeline Leak Detection and Repair Final Rule issued by the U. S. Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration on January 17, 2025.
