Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 1-204.1 as follows:

§ 1-204.1. Appointed and qualified.

"Appointed and qualified," whenever used in reference to the term of office of any person appointed by the Governor for which confirmation by the General Assembly is required, means the appointee has satisfied all statutory requirements, taken the oath office, and been confirmed by the General Assembly.
