HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 763

Commending the River's Bend Community Association swim team.

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 18, 2025

WHEREAS, the River's Bend Community Association swim team has provided the Chester community with exceptional recreational opportunities for 25 years; and

WHEREAS, the River's Bend swim team (RBST) was founded in 2000 as an offshoot of the Chesterfield Swim Association (CSA) following the sale of the CSA's original location; and

WHEREAS, the RBST was established alongside the Stoney Glen Swim Team, with both emerging as successors to the original CSA team; and

WHEREAS, the RBST has provided a positive and competitive environment for young swimmers in the community for 25 years, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and athletic excellence; and

WHEREAS, the dedication of the RBST's coaches, parents, volunteers, and athletes has contributed greatly to the swim club's accomplishments and success; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That the River's Bend Community Association swim team hereby be commended on the occasion of its 25th anniversary; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the River's Bend Community Association swim team as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the team's achievements and best wishes for its continued success.
