Celebrating the life of Winston E. Hubbard, Jr.

Agreed to by the House of Delegates, February 17, 2025

WHEREAS, Winston E. Hubbard, Jr., a beloved member of the Richmond community, died on September 29, 2024; and

WHEREAS, born in Richmond, Winston Hubbard was affectionately known by friends and family as “Mickey,” and cherished by all who knew him for his kind and gentle spirit; and

WHEREAS, Winston Hubbard was a devoted family man who did everything he could to support his children and grandchildren in all of their endeavors; and

WHEREAS, Winston Hubbard will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his children, Katera, Parrish, Prina, and Daquan, and their families; his mother, Darcel; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Delegates hereby note with great sadness the loss of Winston E. Hubbard, Jr., a treasured member of the Richmond community whose light brightened countless lives; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Winston E. Hubbard, Jr., as an expression of the House of Delegates' respect for his memory.
