Commending Sheila S. Noll.

WHEREAS, Sheila S. Noll, a longtime member of the York County Board of Supervisors, has served the residents of York County with dedication and distinction for 30 years; and

WHEREAS, over the course of her career in public office, Sheila Noll has represented the residents of District 2 and served terms as chair and vice chair of the York County Board of Supervisors; and

WHEREAS, Sheila Noll has built strong relationships with her constituents to ensure that every resident felt their voice could be heard, and she promoted the importance of good communication and transparency in local government; and

WHEREAS, during her tenure on the York County Board of Supervisors, Sheila Noll worked closely with local businesses, tourism and historical organizations, the county's significant population of active-duty military service members, and other stakeholders to maintain York County's unique and vibrant character; and

WHEREAS, outside of her duties on the York County Board of Supervisors, Sheila Noll has been active with the Virginia Association of Counties and provided her wise insights to the Local Government Advisory Committee to the Chesapeake Executive Council; and

WHEREAS, Sheila Noll has served the residents of York County with the utmost dedication, integrity, and distinction, working diligently to preserve, protect, and improve the county for future generations; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Sheila S. Noll for her 30 years of service to the residents of York County; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Sheila S. Noll as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for her personal and professional achievements.
