SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 304

Commending Sydney Sawyer.

Agreed to by the Senate, February 22, 2025

WHEREAS, Sydney Sawyer has greatly served the Town of Clifton by organizing the Clifton Haunted Trail for the past 12 years; and

WHEREAS, the Clifton Haunted Trail organized by Sydney Sawyer is the most successful fundraiser in the Town of Clifton and supports the town's operational budget as one of its main sources of revenue; and

WHEREAS, Sydney Sawyer has guided the development of the Clifton Haunted Trail over the years, which is renowned for its spooky features, such as the haunted bridge and Bunny Man display; and

WHEREAS, Sydney Sawyer's extraordinary efforts have fostered the success of the Town of Clifton and have helped to make the locality a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the Senate of Virginia, That Sydney Sawyer hereby be commended for organizing the beloved Clifton Haunted Trail; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Sydney Sawyer as an expression of the Senate of Virginia's admiration for her contributions to the Town of Clifton.
