Celebrating the life of Danny Joe Dales, D.C.

WHEREAS, Danny Joe Dales, D.C., an esteemed chiropractor and beloved member of the Bluefield community, died on January 11, 2025; and

WHEREAS, raised in Buchanan County, Joe Dales graduated from the former Garden High School, where he earned all-state honors in football; and

WHEREAS, after completing his studies at what is today Life University, Joe Dales began his career as a chiropractor with Willis Chiropractic in 1996; and

WHEREAS, four years later, Joe Dales opened his own practice, Dales Chiropractic, Inc., with his wife, Kay Dales, D.C., and dedicated himself to the health and well-being of his patients at locations in Bluefield and Welch, West Virginia; and

WHEREAS, Joe Dales gave generously of his time to help others in need and was active and engaged in the community through his involvement with the Lions Club in Welch, West Virginia, and the Bluefield Planning Commission; and

WHEREAS, Joe Dales contributed to the growth and development of countless young people as a coach with various youth sports leagues and as a proud supporter, coach, and doctor of the athletic program at Graham High School in Bluefield; and

WHEREAS, Joe Dales was a devoted husband and father whose greatest joy in life was spending quality time with his family; and

WHEREAS, Joe Dales was baptized as a young man and was guided throughout his life by his deep and abiding faith; and

WHEREAS, Joe Dales will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife of 28 years, Kay; his children, Danny II, Zachary, and Ella; his mother, Sue; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the Senate, the House of Delegates concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Danny Joe Dales, D.C., a treasured member of the Bluefield community whose integrity and legacy of service inspired all who knew him; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Danny Joe Dales, D.C., as an expression of the General Assembly's respect for his memory.
