Commending Waller Tire Place.

WHEREAS, Waller Tire Place has provided the Hopewell and Chester communities with exemplary tire service for many years; and
WHEREAS, Waller Tire Place was founded in 1983 by Woodrow Waller, Jr., in an old, one-room schoolhouse, the former Kingsland Elementary School on Jefferson Davis Highway in Chester, with little financial backing but an abundance of hard work and determination; and
WHEREAS, Waller Tire Place quickly expanded, building a new facility adjacent to the original location and, by 1993, moved operations to the Chester location at 1300 West Hundred Road on Route 10 under the leadership of the late Woodrow Waller, Sr.; and
WHEREAS, the success of Waller Tire Place's Chester location, managed by general manager Ray Waller, Sr., and his son Ray Waller, Jr., stands as a testament to the company's commitment to excellence, family values, and community service; and
WHEREAS, Waller Tire Place has deep roots in family tradition, drawing on the Christian values instilled during the founders' upbringing, exemplified by the motto, “treat others as you wish to be treated”; and
WHEREAS, Waller Tire Place's Hopewell location, established in April 2008 at 202 East City Point Road and managed by John Waller, with over 30 years of experience in the tire business, has proudly served the community for 20 years, continuing the legacy of quality service, trust, and commitment to going above and beyond for its customers; and
WHEREAS, the outstanding service of Waller Tire Place has supported local economic growth and reinforced the values of integrity, hard work, and compassion within Chester and Hopewell; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Waller Tire Place hereby be commended for its many years of outstanding service in Chester and Hopewell, its significant contributions to local commerce, its commitment to Christian values, and its role as a model of excellence and community service; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Waller Tire Place and its leadership in Chester and Hopewell as an expression of the House of Delegates' appreciation and admiration for their contributions to the community.
