Commending Sterner's Tae Kwon Do Academy.

WHEREAS, Sterner's Tae Kwon Do Academy, a martial arts center in Herndon, has helped countless students learn new skills, improve their fitness, and develop self-confidence, self-respect, and self-discipline for 20 years; and
WHEREAS, established in 2005, Sterner's Tae Kwon Do Academy not only teaches self-defense techniques rooted in the Korean martial art of taekwondo, but also helps students build a sense of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, and self-control as well as an indomitable spirit; and
WHEREAS, Sterner's Tae Kwon Do Academy was founded by Adam Sterner, a national championship-winning seventh dan black belt master who has created an environment that is safe, comfortable, and welcoming for all students; and
WHEREAS, Sterner's Tae Kwon Do Academy offers preschool classes to help children develop motor skills, children's classes to help young people continue to develop life skills, convenient after-school classes and summer camps to provide positive outlets for youth development, and adult classes to help older students hone their self-defense skills and achieve fitness goals; and
WHEREAS, with its practical approach to teaching and coaching, Sterner's Tae Kwon Do Academy has helped students of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels achieve their personal goals; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Sterner's Tae Kwon Do Academy on the occasion of its 20th anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Sterner's Tae Kwon Do Academy as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for its contributions to the Herndon community.
