Celebrating the life of Thomas Knapp Stone.

WHEREAS, Thomas Knapp Stone, a respected state employee and beloved member of the Richmond community, died on September 22, 2024; and
WHEREAS, Thomas Stone was the son of Woodrow Wayne Stone and Winifred Marie Knapp and was a graduate of the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind; and
WHEREAS, after earning a degree from Radford University, Thomas Stone dedicated himself to the success and prosperity of the Commonwealth as a Virginia state employee; and
WHEREAS, Thomas Stone will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his loving wife of 20 years, Mary Anne; his sisters, Eileen and Carole; and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of Thomas Knapp Stone, a treasured member of the Richmond community whose kindness and generosity touched countless lives; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Thomas Knapp Stone as an expression of the General Assembly's respect for his memory.
