Commending Patricia Healy.

WHEREAS, Patricia Healy, an esteemed community leader, has made a profound and lasting impact on Stafford County Public Schools over her 25 years of service on the Stafford County School Board; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Healy joined the Stafford County School Board on January 1, 2000, and is the longest-serving elected member in the school board's history; over her tenure, she has led the board as chair for seven years and as vice chair for one year; and

WHEREAS, for the past quarter-century, Patricia Healy has been an unwavering champion for Stafford County's students, families, and teachers, working indefatigably to foster their success and well-being; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Healy has worked productively with more than 30 fellow board members over her tenure on the Stafford County School Board, employing grace and diplomacy to achieve meaningful solutions to every challenge the board has faced; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Healy has overseen the opening of a third of Stafford County's schools over the past 25 years, as well as the renovation of several others, which have enhanced the county's ability to meet the needs of its students; and

WHEREAS, through her tireless advocacy and unflagging commitment to the students and families she serves, Patricia Healy has helped to make Stafford County a wonderful place to live, work, and learn; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Patricia Healy on the occasion of her 25th anniversary of service on the Stafford County School Board; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Patricia Healy as an expression of the General Assembly's admiration for her contributions to Stafford County and the Commonwealth.
