Commending Tautog's Restaurant.

WHEREAS, Tautog's Restaurant has cultivated a unique dining experience for Virginia Beach residents and visitors at its historic location since the early 1990s; and

WHEREAS, Tautog's Restaurant was developed after partners of Right Coast Properties purchased and committed to the preservation of Winston's cottage, an oceanfront residence built in the 1920s; and

WHEREAS, Tautog's Restaurant offers the finest local seafood in a setting that provides a glimpse of the region's past right in the heart of the Virginia Beach resort strip; and

WHEREAS, Tautog's Restaurant has provided the finest seafood, service, and surroundings to countless customers over the course of its history; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Tautog's Restaurant hereby be commended for its legacy of service to the community in Virginia Beach; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Tautog's Restaurant as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for its contributions to the vibrant local economy.
