Commending William Raybold.

WHEREAS, William Raybold has proudly served as the principal of Conway Elementary School of Stafford County Public Schools for the past 15 years, during which time he has made significant contributions to the school's community; and

WHEREAS, prior to his tenure at Conway Elementary School, William “JR” Raybold was the assistant principal of Margaret Brent Elementary School in Stafford County, which followed three years of teaching fourth and fifth grade students; and

WHEREAS, under JR Raybold's leadership, Conway Elementary School has flourished, establishing a positive school culture that benefits students, staff, and families alike; and

WHEREAS, JR Raybold's passion for student attendance and engagement is evident in his efforts to create an environment where students are excited to learn and grow; as a testament to this dedication, each year he learns all the names of his nearly 1,000 students, fostering a sense of belonging among the student body; and

WHEREAS, in addition to enhancing school spirit, JR Raybold founded Cougar Connections, a community outreach program designed to strengthen ties between the school and its neighborhoods; through this initiative, staff members visit local communities monthly to distribute food, books, and parent literature and organize positive games, ensuring that every family feels supported and valued; and

WHEREAS, JR Raybold is committed to inclusivity, providing newsletters and updates in various languages to ensure that all families are informed and engaged; and

WHEREAS, JR Raybold is devoted to the professional development of the faculty he oversees, playing a pivotal role in nurturing future educational leaders; consequently, many teachers, counselors, and assistant principals under his mentorship have received division-wide awards, highlighting his impact on their careers; and

WHEREAS, JR Raybold's unwavering commitment to excellence in education continues to inspire those around him, making a lasting difference in the lives of countless students and families; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That William Raybold hereby be commended for his legacy of service as an education administrator and principal of Conway Elementary School; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to William Raybold as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for his contributions to Conway Elementary School, Stafford County, and the Commonwealth.
