That nothing in this act shall be construed as prohibiting any professional licensed, certified, or registered by a health regulatory board, other than an acupuncturist, from acting within the scope of his practice or requiring any professional licensed, certified, or registered by a health regulatory board, other than an acupuncturist, acting within his scope of practice to obtain a license to practice as an acupuncturist from the Board of Medicine.
