Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Board of Dentistry shall promulgate regulations to amend 18VAC60-21-210 of the Virginia Administrative Code by removing the requirement that applicants shall have been engaged in active practice for five out of the six years immediately preceding application for licensure and replacing it with a requirement that applicants shall have been engaged in active practice for two out of the five years immediately preceding application for licensure, where such practice is not required to be consecutive.
