Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Board of Education (the Board) shall develop, adopt, and distribute to each local school board a model policy regarding bathroom safety checks in public elementary and secondary schools during normal school hours that includes consideration of appropriate staffing, the frequency of such checks, and any other topics that the Board deems relevant.
