Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Autism Advisory Council (the Council) shall study and advise the General Assembly on the establishment of an autism data dashboard in the Commonwealth. The purpose of such dashboard shall be the promotion of greater public transparency and access to information and resources on autism spectrum disorders. The Council shall make recommendations to the General Assembly on the development of such dashboard, including the types of data and resources that should be included. The Council shall further advise on the potential costs of establishing such dashboard and the feasibility of Virginia becoming an Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network site in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Council shall submit a report with its findings and recommendations to the Chairs of the House Committee on Appropriations, the House Committee on Health and Human Services, the Senate Committee on Finance and Appropriations, and the Senate Committee on Education and Health no later than November 1, 2025.
