Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Joint Commission on Health Care (the Commission) shall conduct a study on the licensure process for assisted living facility administrators. In conducting its study, the Commission shall determine any potential barriers to licensure as an assisted living facility administrator and make recommendations on policies to increase the accessibility of licensure. The Commission shall submit a report on its findings and recommendations to the Chairs of the House Committee on Health and Human Services and the Senate Committee on Education and Health by November 1, 2025.
